Any licensed and registered company/indivisual establishment can be listed in the mall.bh directory if the provided website has the following condition:

• An eCommerce website and not just a informational website about the company/establishment
• Includes and online payment method
• Deliver the goods/services to the consumers

All the goods sold are owned by the licensed and registered companies/individual establishments as the mall.bh does not own any good to provide for the consumers.

All the listed eStore and eMarketplaces are licensed and registered by the Ministry of Industry, commerce and Industry as this is first condition to apply for the mall.bh, which eventually ensures and covers the stakeholders by the laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Local Domain Name (.bh) Reservation service is available on Mall.bh under “create eStore” tab. You can access the page using your CR eKey.

This service allows reserving Local Domain Name (.bh) through Mall.bh to facilitate the procedures to get the local domain name for eCommerce practitioners.

You can sign in using your CR eKey through the following link https://mall.bh/en/Domain. You can enter the local domain name that you would like to reserve and check its availability, and then enter the information related to your commercial registration. An email will be sent to confirm the reservation process. The reservation is valid for 3 months from its date and contains the Authorization code that will be used when registering the reserved local domain with one of the Authorized Registrars.

After reserving the Local Domain Name (.bh), you will receive an email with a link to the list of the Authorized Registrars. The registration process will be completed by choosing one of the Authorized Registrars using the (Authorization code) that was received by email after the reservation confirmation. Some Authorized Registrars have a domain transfer service using the (Authorization code), and some Authorized Registrars require filling in the required information about the commercial registration and the company.

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce provides this service for free and the local domain name (.bh) reservation is valid for 3 months from the reservation date.

The cost of registering the reserved local domain name with one of the authorized registrars varies according to their prices. You can contact the authorized registrars directly for more details about the registration prices.

Yes, you must have a commercial registration.

This is not required, but some authorized registrars have certain requirements in this regard. You can contact the authorized registrars for further information regarding the requirements.

You can get the Authorization code by accessing the Mall.bh through sign in by the eKey, then click on the profile icon at the top of the page to select the local domain names that have been previously reserved, and then choose the local domain name you want to verify the authorization code.

You should select an authorized registrar from the authorized registrars list. You can contact the authorized registrar to get information about the pricing and the registration requirements.
